Today, I truly believe that hump day exists.
Upon my last blog post, I was going through Photobucket.com looking for "Happy Wednesday" pictures. I came across an awful lot of "Happy Hump Day" pictures too, and I thought, "What the heck is hump day? Is it really what it's implying?"
So off I go to the wonderful resource called urbandictionary.com to look up hump day. First result:
Hallelujah! No (intended) sexual reference!
The middle of a work week (Wednesday); used in the context of climbing a proverbial hill to get through a tough week.
I forgot about that until today. The past two days have been tiring. On Monday, I worked on my essay for English and felt generally tired. And then on Tuesday, IT came, plus I had Winter Percussion that day. The first day always includes crying and/or mood swings (in this time around, mood swings). I was all over the place, and by the time I got home I was too exhausted to do anything. Last night I got my auntie to get my prom dress adjusted because the bust area was going all WOOHOO on me. When I came home yet again, I was so tired. I went to sleep at 10:00 PM and woke up at 4:00 AM to complete that essay that was due today. EXHAUSTING.
Today was pretty stressful in itself too. I'm still in mood swings, but now it's okay because I have (pretty much) no homework tonight! Which leaves time to do drawing. :)
So just now, I have acknowledged that Hump Day actually does exist.
That is all.
