hump day!

Today, I truly believe that hump day exists.

Upon my last blog post, I was going through Photobucket.com looking for "Happy Wednesday" pictures. I came across an awful lot of "Happy Hump Day" pictures too, and I thought, "What the heck is hump day? Is it really what it's implying?"

So off I go to the wonderful resource called urbandictionary.com to look up hump day. First result:

The middle of a work week (Wednesday); used in the context of climbing a proverbial hill to get through a tough week.
Hallelujah! No (intended) sexual reference!
I forgot about that until today. The past two days have been tiring. On Monday, I worked on my essay for English and felt generally tired. And then on Tuesday, IT came, plus I had Winter Percussion that day. The first day always includes crying and/or mood swings (in this time around, mood swings). I was all over the place, and by the time I got home I was too exhausted to do anything. Last night I got my auntie to get my prom dress adjusted because the bust area was going all WOOHOO on me. When I came home yet again, I was so tired. I went to sleep at 10:00 PM and woke up at 4:00 AM to complete that essay that was due today. EXHAUSTING.

Today was pretty stressful in itself too. I'm still in mood swings, but now it's okay because I have (pretty much) no homework tonight! Which leaves time to do drawing. :)

So just now, I have acknowledged that Hump Day actually does exist.

That is all.

well again!

It is true (somewhat)! I have been feeling FANTASTIC for the last two days, until this morning when I started having another coughing spell. It's gone now, so I think I'll go biking again soon (as in TODAY! :D). I just hope I don't cough while biking.

My music library has been expanding this week. It's wonderful! A lot of the songs I'm adding are really old and were popular during the time they were first released and I was oblivious to any music playing on the radio or at the dances, aka "Laura's My Chemical Romance stage." EGAD. Anywhoo, my favorite new song is "Sleepyhead" by Passion Pit. LISTEN. It makes me happy everytime I listen to it! :'D

But yeah. At the end of my sick period that almost made three weeks, I stayed home a grand total of SIX DAYS. GUHHHHH. And there's still lots to make up. :( My grades are suffering, and it will be sad, but not unexpected, if I get a lower gpa this semester.

And that is an update that ABSOLUTELY NO ONE READS. :)
